I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms felt cramped like an attic with minimal natural light, but they were surprisingly spacious. The service was exceptional, with the staff going out of their way to ensure my stay was enjoyable. The location, though quiet and lovely, had some unexpected mildew issues. The dining was a bit disappointing, offering limited options. The facilities were decent, but there were some cleanliness issues to note.

The hotel is conveniently located in the lovely northern suburb of Glen Allen, offering easy access to major highways and boasting beautiful grounds. While the room was exceptionally clean and the bed incredibly comfortable, there were some minor signs of aging like a dead bug in the bathroom tub. The service was quick to respond and very apologetic, promptly offering a room change and ensuring the bedding was replaced. The location is ideal for those looking to stay in a serene environment that doesn’t add much travel time, with nearby pet-friendly restaurants adding to the convenience. The dining experience featured a good variety of fresh breakfast options, including made-to-order omelets and fresh fruits, ensuring a pleasant start to the day.
